Develop the right mindset

We all face challenges in life from saving money to dieting to getting out of bed on time and these tasks are even more of a struggle when you don't have the right mindset. All the information in the world about a particular topic may not be worth much if you don't have the right mindset to apply it.

I truly learnt the power of the right mindset and the importance of psychology when I conducted a survey to see how many people actually become wealthy within a couple of years of attending one of my property events. In preparing the survey I was fully expecting the results to be spectacular and was truly surprised and disappointed when the results showed that only around three or four percent of my seminar attendees actually became millionaires.

So I embarked on a study - I wanted to know why is it that when you give people all the tools that you think they need in order to get rich, why is it that they still don't do it? What I found is that the psychology of wealth is more important than the how-to. I have since incorporated the psychology of wealth into my events and my success rate at turning attendees into millionaires has gone up dramatically.

Developing a mindset that allows you to become rich and stay rich is more important than learning the mechanics of making money. Unfortunately having the right psychology is often overlooked and underestimated.

Prosperity and success can be yours if you seek them with an open mind. Take the time to find out your inhibiting thoughts, analyse them and learn to get rid of them. When you put positive thoughts into your mind and visualise your goals every day, you will start to see your circumstances improving.

Visualisation is one of the most important keys to success. Keep an open mind, be willing to act and take up the opportunities that will come your way, and you will find yourself on the road to success.

'Think and Grow Rich!' By Napoleon Hill

Think and Grow Rich! is founded on Hill's earlier work, The Law of Success, which was the result of more than twenty years of research based on Hill's close association with a large number of individuals who managed to achieve great wealth during the course of their lifetimes.

Hill studied the characteristics of these great achievers and developed fifteen 'laws' intended to be applied by anybody to achieve success. Think and Grow Rich! itself condenses these laws further and provides the reader with 13 principles in the form of a philosophy of personal achievement.
